sketch book the artist shopping get the latest on the blog

This beautiful collection of water colours was painted by my great grandfather, Joseph W. Fletcher R.B.A.

Each scene has captured the essence and beauty of the coast of Britain,
giving an authentic flavour of life in the early 20th Century and they manage to convey the innocent joy
experienced by children at the beach that remains constant throughout the ages.

They are available as greetings cards, magnets, mounted pictures and post cards.

Memory is a child walking along a seashore.
You never can tell what small pebble it will pick up and store away among its treasured things.
